Why Choose Organic?

Organic products are free from pesticides, herbicides, and other potentially harmful substances that can damage your health. While it's impossible to avoid all environmental toxins, you can reduce your toxin exposure by using organic products.

Over 400 chemicals are routinely used in conventional farming methods and residues are often present in non-organic plant products. As more than 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our blood stream, it makes sense to not just choose organic food, but also organic skin and body care.

Over the last 50 years, there has been a worrying increase in the use of petrochemicals in cosmetic products due to these chemicals being cheaper and more convenient for manufacturers to use. It is important for us to be aware that the long-term effects of these  harsh chemicals on our bodies are still unknown.

Synthetic fragrances and colors often added to cosmetics can be powerful allergens. With asthma, hayfever and other allergies on the rise, it makes sense to use only chemical free natural products and organic foods.

Supporting the organic movement is vital for the health and beauty of our environment now and for future generations. Organic farming practices are better for wildlife and produce less carbon dioxide (the main global warming gas) than regular commercial farming. The restriction of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other chemicals is vital for a healthy eco-system.
